The Department of Information Technology (IT) provides cost effective and innovative information technology leadership and support to City departments and staff.
Additionally, the IT department
- Installs and maintains City personal computers, workstations and servers
- Administers the City's data network and servers
- Administers the City's phone systems including cellular services
- Provides Help Desk support and administration for internal City systems
- Manages the City's SCADA and AMI systems
- Trains on City desktop applications
- Manages the City's central data services
- Manages the City's email system
- Supports the optimal use of technology throughout the City's Departments
