Historic properties are an important part of the culture and heritage of Fredericksburg. The City of Fredericksburg understands that some homeowners may need assistance in covering expenses related to the maintenance of these historic properties. Homeowners with structures in need of exterior maintenance are eligible to apply for funding assistance. The application for the Historic Preservation Grant can be downloaded or a hardcopy can be picked up at City Hall.
Applications are now being accepted for 2025 through Monday, June 30.
Funds are offered as a reimbursement. If you would like to apply for the grant, please contact the Development Services Department, at City Hall, 126 West Main Street or call (830) 997-7521 to discuss the scope of work and assistance needed.
