Boards & Commissions

The various City of Fredericksburg's boards and commissions act as advisory boards to the City Council and in some instances, they are the final body for action. 

Membership

Appointments to boards and commissions are made annually in June and December and the terms depend on the position and commission unless otherwise noted by ordinance. 

Application

If you are interested in being part a board or commission, please complete an application and return it to the City Secretary's Office at 126 W. Main Street, Fredericksburg, Texas 78624. You may also complete the form and send it in via e-mail. Applications are kept on file for one year from the date of receipt.
 
Applications (pdf) are provided to the City Council during annual appointments or when a vacancy arises. If you would like to be notified of vacancies or annual appointments, please subscribe to our notification list.
