Disposing of Yard Waste
City Ordinance No. 5-042 prohibits any yard waste from being picked up by the City of Fredericksburg sanitation trucks to be disposed of in the municipal landfill.
- Residents of the City of Fredericksburg or Gillespie County may place leaves and grass clippings at the City’s designated yard waste drop-off site free of charge, at any time of the day or night.
- The yard waste drop-off site is not for commercial use.
- Dumping of rocks, brush, limbs, sticks, and other non-compliant material at this site is prohibited.
