The Gillespie County Public Health Board was established as part of a cooperative agreement between the City of Fredericksburg and Gillespie County. The agreement provides for the creation of an Administrative (Advisory) Public Health Board, known as the Gillespie County Public Health Board, which shall recommend to the operating members both substantive and procedural rules necessary and appropriate to protect the health and safety of the citizens of Gillespie County, Texas.
