Code Enforcement
This department's primary responsibility is to safeguard the health, safety, and well-being of the citizens of Fredericksburg. This is done by enforcing the minimum standards set forth by the State of Texas as well as the adopted Ordinances of the City of Fredericksburg. Code Enforcement helps eliminate potential health and safety hazards while providing protection for the citizens and their interests.

Paying a Code Enforcement citation fine can be completed in several ways:
By Mail or in Person
Make checks payable to: City of Fredericksburg and include the citation number on the check.

Report Ordinance Violations via Email
The Fredericksburg Police Department offers residents the ability to report ordinance violations by email. This system provides a simple way for the community to notify us of non-emergency city code violations such as:
Overgrown grass or weeds
Trash or debris accumulation
Abandoned or inoperable vehicles on private property
Non-urgent noise complaints
Parking concerns
Animal-related ordinance issues
Please note that this email system is not monitored 24/7. Staff will review submitted reports during regular business hours and follow up as needed. If your concern requires immediate attention or poses a threat to public safety, please call 9-1-1 or Dispatch at 830-990-8793.
