Certain variances to the Watering Restrictions may be granted. An application must be submitted to the Development Services Department.
Stage 4 Watering Variances
- Filling of new pools or draining and refilling of existing pools require a variance from the City of Fredericksburg.
- To allow multiple platted lots with common ownership and single address to combine total outdoor watering hours, a variance from the City of Fredericksburg is required.
- Watering variances are not allowed for new lawns and landscaping.
Proof of Variance
Any person or entity that is issued a variance must provide proof of the variance on demand by any peace officer, code enforcement officer or other person authorized by the City to enforce this requirement.
