Fredericksburg, Texas – The City of Fredericksburg’s Splash Pad will open for the 2024 summer season on Friday, May 3.
Located along West Schubert Street, adjacent to the Tony Knopp Town Pool, the Splash Pad is slated to welcome guests six days a week, Tuesday-Sunday, while being closed on Mondays for maintenance. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
Entry to the Splash Pad is free, while guests will have access to the restrooms at Town Pool during the hours of operation. The Splash Pad is expected to be open through September, weather permitting.
The Splash Pad, built in 2023, was funded by the Fredericksburg Morning Rotary Club, and is now maintained by the City of Fredericksburg’s Parks and Recreation Department.
Meanwhile, the Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park Pool and Town Pool will open for the summer on Saturday, May 25.

Pool open hours may be adjusted based on lifeguard availability this summer. Please follow the City’s social media channels for updates. A closing date has not been set at this time for the pools.
POOL FEES
An entry fee of $2.00 per person (all ages) will be assessed. A 12 Punch Pass card will be offered this summer for $20 each. Aquatics facilities will accept payment in cash, checks, and are now accepting payment via card, however, with a 3% convenience fee.
PRIVATE POOL EVENTS
Private pool party requests are now being accepted for events in June or later and will be approved on a case-by-case basis depending on lifeguard availability.
