Fredericksburg, Texas – The City of Fredericksburg recently promoted Brandon Gold to Assistant Director and hired Keith Jenkins as Network Administrator in its Information Technology Department. 

Gold moves up from his role as Network Administrator, which he has held since 2022. He will assist I.T. Director, Aaron Anderegg, with management of the City’s network and I.T. infrastructure. Gold graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Texas State University and previously worked for Fredericksburg Independent School District for eight years. He is married with five children. 

Jenkins was hired to fill the position that Gold vacated and comes to the City from the school district, where he spent nine years in the technology department and as a teacher. His addition raises the department’s total staff to four and will allow for increased technology support throughout the City’s organization. Jenkins is a graduate of Texas A&M, married, and a member of the Noon Rotary Club.
