Fredericksburg, Texas – The Fredericksburg Fire/EMS Department, in partnership with Southwest Texas Regional Advisory Council and South Texas Blood & Tissue, will hold a community blood drive on Friday, April 4, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event at the First Baptist Church at 1407 E. Main St. aims to support local patients in need of life-saving blood donations. This will be the first community-wide drive since Fredericksburg’s EMS began carrying whole blood in January.

Donors will receive a e-gift card valued at $10-$150 redeemable at the vendor of their choice.
To ensure an efficient process, donors will be asked to complete a health questionnaire sent via text on the morning of the drive before their appointment.
