Redesigned FBGTX.org Unveiled

Press Releases Posted on February 21, 2025

Fredericksburg, Texas – The City of Fredericksburg, in partnership with CivicPlus®, recently launched a redesigned FBGTX.org. This significant enhancement aims to enhance user experience and better align with the City's brand identity.

Over a nearly 10-month process, a select group of staff worked with CivicPlus® to incorporate the City's recently standardized brand colors more prominently, creating a cohesive and visually appealing online presence.

With mobile usage in mind, the updated look was designed to offer a more intuitive navigation structure, making it easier for users to find the information they need quickly and efficiently.

The redone site also features an advanced search functionality with the debut of the "Fredericksburg Assistant", a chatbot that will provide more accurate and relevant search results, helping users locate resources and services with ease.

"We are excited to introduce the new FBGTX.org to our community," City of Fredericksburg Public Information Officer Sean Doerre said. "Our goal was to create a user-friendly and visually-clean platform that delivers easy access to important information and services."

Both the Parks & Recreation Department and Police Department received upgraded webpages, because of their high volume of website traffic. The redesigned website went live on Thursday, Feb. 20.
