About Us

The Fredericksburg Parks and Recreation Department seeks to provide parks, facilities, events and programs that enrich the lives of people of all ages.


Fredericksburg has 8 parks, including 2 outdoor aquatic facilities, a splashpad, multiple playgrounds, 8 ball fields, 6 tennis courts with 4 striped for pickleball, a soccer field, nature trails, a skate park, basketball pavilion, and a RV campground.
