Comprehensive Plan and Parks Master Plan
Implementation:
Successful implementation of the community’s vision is the shared responsibility of the residents, property owners, business owners, governmental agencies, civic organizations, service providers, trade groups, social advocates, and others. Appendix A - Implementation Plan identifies organizations beyond City staff that will need to assist with specific tasks. Some of those organizations include: The Hill Country Alliance, the Hill Country Underground Water Conservation District, Rotary Club(s), Chamber of Commerce, Gillespie County, Gillespie Economic Development Corporation, Lions Club, Friends of the Fredericksburg Nature Center, Master Naturalists, Optimist Club, the Parks Foundation, Convention and Visitors Bureau, Alamo Area Council of Governments, TxDOT, Pioneer Museum, Fredericksburg ISD, local schools, Board of Realtors, local businesses, property owners, and more! |
| The history, demographics and "background" information was not included in the main document to reduce the size of the final document, however this information was vital to the creation of the Comp Plan and provides context. Appendix B contains this background information. |
| There were several outreach efforts to engage the community at large. Appendix C summarizes those efforts and the outcomes from public meetings, online surveys, and personal interactions. |
