For residents of Fredericksburg seeking to register to vote in upcoming elections in accordance with Texas state law, individuals must be registered at least 30 days prior to an election to be eligible to vote. Q. I am registered to vote, but I moved this past year. Is there anything I need to do to make sure that I won’t have a problem voting in the City's General Election?
If you moved within the City Limits of Fredericksburg, you can still vote but must let the election clerk know you have moved to a new address within the city. You will be required to complete a "statement of residence" form confirming your new address within the city limits. This will act to update your registration information for the future. You will then be allowed to vote a regular ballot as long as you are otherwise eligible.
