Fort Martin Scott Living History Days
Saturday, July 3, 2021
Living History/Reenactors will be set up at the fort celebrating life on the frontier and at the fort throughout the 1800's during the July 4th weekend. Soldiers, Texas Rangers, Native Americans, and settlers will have their camps all around the parade ground. During the day there will be cannon firing, small arms demonstrations, and other frontier life skills for the whole family to enjoy.
Come learn about a soldier's life at the fort, or the settlers having to learn to survive through all the hardships they had to encounter. Visit a Texas Rangers camp as they prepare for their next patrol.
Scheduled cannon and weapons demonstrations at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Fort Martin Scott is located at 1606 E. Main Street in Fredericksburg and open 10 am to 5 pm Thursdays through Mondays. Closed Tuesday and Wednesdays.
