Emily Eppright Kirchner is a 6th generation Texan proud to call Fredericksburg home with her husband, Tim, and their two young children. Emily is a graduate of Texas A&M University and has a Master’s Degree in Public Affairs from the LBJ School at the University of Texas at Austin. She worked at the Texas Capitol for over a decade, serving in the offices of State Representatives Dennis Bonnen, Lyle Larson, and Ed Thompson. She also worked for International Justice Mission in Washington DC, a human rights agency working to end violence against the poor.
Emily is currently the Children’s Ministry Director at St. Barnabas, owns Gute Leben, is President of Leadership Gillespie County Class of 2022, is a Hill Country CASA (court appointed special advocate), and recently served on the Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of Fredericksburg. Emily is eager to work together for the residents of our city so we can all continue to live in a city we're proud of.
